You can embed the text of a previous response into the question text of a subsequent question by simply placing the unique Question ID Number in square brackets. For example:
This question refers to the response to the previous question # 26022. If the participant had chosen the response "Bananas", for instance, to question # 26022, this new question text would read: "You chose Bananas".
This strategy can be used with any question type (with the exception of Matrix questions).
