How To: Download Video, Image, and Audio Files in Bulk


Previously, links to video files were found in the Flat Data File. Now there is a separate interface for downloading videos all at once.


Note: This is only available to the Group Leader. Other professional accounts will not be able to download a participant's media files.


1) Navigate to the "Bulk Media Download" item at the bottom of the "My mEMA" Menu


2) Select date range and up to 4 mobile codes for download and click "Package Files"

  • When the files have been prepared a link titled "Download Zip File" will appear. Press this and it will initiate a download to your computer.

3) The zip file will contain sub-folders for each mobile code selected and their image, video and audio files will be located within this folder. 




Notes:

  • Video Recordings - For both iOS and Android the downloaded files will be in .mp4 file format. iOS recordings will have 360x480 video resolution with Color Profile PAL, where Android recordings will have the video recordings set as per camera settings
  • Audio Recordings - File format for iOS will be in .m4a with Audio Channels: Mono and sample rate 12kHz, and for Android the file format will be in .3gp with Audio Channels: Mono
  • Images - File format for both iOS and Android will be in .jpg
